How quickly could you start transforming your potential into real success, real rewards and real influence?

In today’s fast paced world, an education needs to be more than just book study. Career prospects need to hit the ground running and be well acclimatised to their chosen career path. History shows us that hands on learning in a particular field offers the best training for people new to a career. Nothing compares to shadowing the expertise of seasoned professionals and their unique individual skills. The possibilities are endless for interns to learn valuable new skills and discover their true talents. With an internship, you can really get a feel for your chosen field. Will it be what you expect? Or maybe it will surpass your expectations?

Our Internship Programme enables students to spend quality time working in a sponsoring organisation, or education establishment in the united Kingdom. The programme is open to students, including graduates, those in their final year of study and postgraduates’ placements are also welcome from the public or private sector organisations of all sizes.

Our internship programme provides work placements from 8 weeks to 12 months period throughout the year. The internships are open to you whether you are applying as an individual who may need help gaining work experience or students, including finalists, graduates and postgraduates, unless specified otherwise in the internship vacancy. We also have some open places to individuals who would like to gain work experience to support their career prospects.

Why are they important?

Internships are known for giving students and graduates the opportunity to apply learnt knowledge in real world environments. At the same time, interns will also develop skills which will help them perform better at their jobs. Internships greatly increase the chances that a student will gain full in time employment after graduation. Because many employers feel that some students lack the practical experience to excel in the world of work, internships have become more important than ever before. Individuals who choose to participate in internships can gain credits towards their course of study. This scheme also gives individuals a real opportunity to gain valuable experience to bridge the gap between study and the beginning of your working lives.

Graduates - who wish to add skills and work experience to their CV to help stand out from the crowd in today's overcrowded job market.
University Students -who are looking for work experience to complement their studies.

Individuals - who would like to add skills to their job prospects.

British and European graduates and students (applications from other countries welcomed but are subject to work permits).

Every  internship is unique and each comprise of common elements such as:

  • A defined project, which creates real value for the sponsoring organisation and a valuable learning experience for the student
  • Interaction with an assigned supervisor or mentor within the sponsoring organisation.
  • A reference from your sponsored organisation.
  • A recognised qualification in internship or managing projects

There are a variety of different companies who offer internships to students. These include companies such as corporations, non-profit organisations, education establishments within the private and public sector. As you look into internships and work experience, it is important to understand what employers want. A number of studies have shown that there are some clear attributes that employers are looking for.

Internships or work experience provide real world experience to those looking to explore or gain the relevant knowledge and skills required to enter into a particular career field. Usually short term in nature with the primary focus on getting some on the job training Internships and take   what is  learned in the classroom or in previous workplace settings and allow application in a workplace setting.

An Internship or work experience placement can provide individuals with an opportunity to put into practice skills they have learned during training and/or education, in a workplace setting, to enhance those skills, understand the workplace environment and context and to benefit from a mentor/coach or supervisor’s experience and advice.

Maximum benefit will be gained when a supervisor or mentor is on hand to guide and manage the workplace experience and, ideally, to agree a set of learning outcomes that will be achieved at the end of the placement.

The work environment should provide practical tasks to enable the individual to apply the particular skills that they wish to learn or enhance and also the opportunity to obtain wider product or service knowledge and establish networks for future employment.
